NCCE Technology Educational Program Facebook Page

Many Extension offices are using Facebook to enhance their programming and marketing efforts. Recently, I gave a presentation titled "Stop Broadcasting and Start Having a Conversation" (recording / slideset & script) where I talked about ways to engage your audience using Facebook rather than just using Facebook as another broadcast medium.

Working with other IM Agents, we decided to create an "NCCE Technology Educational Program" Facebook page to model this idea. We also hope to accomplish several other goals with our new Facebook page.

• Learn more about using Facebook for Extension programming
• Enable Extension professionals the ability to experience it from their clientele's point of view
• Have conversations with Extension professionals
• Create a space where Extension professionals can ask questions, learn, share, and just generally communicate with others about using technology in Extension
• Have a 'safe place' where we all can experiment and try new things without fear of failure
