Sending Large Files with Velocity

When sharing files, Google Docs is a great tool.  But sometimes the file is too large to share via Google Docs. There are many sites that will allow you to send a file to someone without attaching it to an email message. NCSU's Velocity https://velocity.ncsu.edu/ is a site that is offered by NCSU to do just that.

You can share files or whole folders (Velocity calls them cabinets).  It is very easy to use.

Note: this is not place for long-term sharing.  Files can stay up here a month. If you want a file to stay available more than a month, you will have to "Extend" it's availability.

Give it a try.

People with NCSU ids can login with your unityID@ncsu.edu and your unity password.  Others can create an account.
